St. Brigid’s Day at the Cliffs of Moher Experience

Saint Brigid was born Brigit and shares her name with a Celtic goddess. St Brigid’s Day has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival of Imbolc, the festival of new life and fertility. It was a time to look forward to brighter days, warmer weather, new growth on the land and the birth of farm animals.
